23 screened for Australian Media.Theres Frebruary no reason for me to expect that I would like Watchmen. I knew the vote was interesting - Patrick Wilson has made smart film choices that do not rely on or intentionally subvert his good looks (Hard Candy, Little Children) was Jackie Earle Haley icky in Little Children (and I'm old enough to remember him from Breaking away), Malin Akerman is cute but 28 Dresses and heartbreak kid superheroes to do, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Matthew Goode -? And director Zack Snyder makes cool stuff with zombies in it died and made these wild and crazy film at 300, which was fully declared his third film will probably be worth a look, but ... you know what ... Then they all signed up for Watchmen - based on live ... sorry, graphic novel, comic ... The ever read, and it was on its way to theaters less than a year after Ironman and The Dark Knight was redefined as good superhero movie that could (and should, from here on in) strive to be. That Watchmen, proved to be more complex, exciting and deeply moving film fantasy from Terry Gilliam's Brazil surprised nobody in the world more than me - and man, it was a surprise. In the same way, a) the inspired vision of an alternate world, there are echoes, but redefines our own existence, b) subversive yet bracingly humanistic exploration of the role of the hero in the current literature, c) a highly adult take on fetishistic pull of elevated existence, that life as a savior of society creates, and d), thrilling adventure story that turns ordinary people to sacrifice exaggerated their own creation and then back into a simple exploration of the plot reveals more humans . An big themes, but at this early stage of its release I dont want to risk reducing experience to anyone.I can reveal it - Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan and Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach create characters as , captivating (and deserves Oscar recognition), which Joker Heath records makes Malin Akerman entry to the world of superheroes timelessness that will be the fantasy of every teenage boy, aged 15-50, and by flawless art direction, set design and special effects mesmerizing soundtrack, Watchmen is a film that revels in the perfection of less details.Be warned - those expecting Spiderman-like teen anxiety or Fantastic Four-like stupidity will be stunned , maybe not quite sure what found. Watchmen is extremely mature, risky project for Hollywood to role the dice on, mainly because such complex explorations of social collapse and vigilantism (V For Vendetta, specifically) have failed to do numbers.But blockbuster Watchmen is special and deserves analysis and discussion. So bold attempt at commercial cinema as I can remember, the Watchmen movie undeniably unique experience - rich, perverse, violent and resonant.
